Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hey Bleeps! (blog peeps!)
Today I have a simple little project to share. Over at Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog we we're to make anything but a card! So,I made a cute little treat holder. I've seen these around before....I got on SU! demo site and looked around and found a template to print....but I didn't quite 'get it',LOL!!! So,I just kinda followed the instructions of it. Basically, you could take any size DSP....I used a 6x6....then you cut it diagonally in half (makes a triangle shape). Then you put adhesive on one side....the roll it together. I chose to cut off the little 'tips'...but you could keep it if you wanted to. This makes a cone shaped treat holder! Anyways....I ruffled up some ribbon to go around the edge and made a scallop tag with the Pennant Die from SU! and then filled with Chocolate!!! Pretty easy to make and could be mass produced for kids parties, etc. Well, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I wanted you to see these very thick demensionals....they are tiny, but alot thicker than most!!! I have no idea where I got them....I've had them for years....but I love them...they are black squares......

My sewing skills still need improvement....and I think my sewing machine is skipping stitches....but, I still kinda like the not so perfect look!

Recipe for card:
  1. Cardstocks: Crumb Cake,VV and Old Olive
  2. Inks: Baja Breez,Crumb Cake,Early Espresso,Melon Mambo,Taken with Teal and Riding Hood Red

Sneak Peak Scrapbook PAge!

Here is a sneak peak on the 6 x6 scrapbook page we will make at my Workshop in Nov. They will get to make the 6x6 scrapbook page. Then I will show then how to take that and add it to a 8 1/2 x 11,then add that to a 12x12. This is called Progressive Scrapbooking!!! I made a mistake with my journaling....my chocolate chip went dry, so then I had to go over that with my basic black marker!!! Do you think it will work? Or should I redo that part?

Holley's Potato Cheese Soup!

Hey again Bleeps!
I thought I'd share tonight's dinner recipe with you! Enjoy ;)

 Holley's Potato Cheese Soup

  1. 6-8 medium to large potatoes (any kind....my favorite is white or red)....peel if you prefer (I like the skin!)
  2. 2 cans of vegetable broth
  3. 1 can of chicken broth
  4. 1-2 cans of Cream of Celery Soup (depends on my mood!)
  5. 1 can Cream of Potato Soup
  6. 1 Bay Leaf (remove before serving!)

For every can of broth add a can of water. For every can of cream soup add a can of milk. Season to taste, bring to a rolling boil. Cook on medium for about 30 minutes until potatoes are tender. Then add the following to the pot:

  1. 2 cans of Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
  2. 1 can of Campbell's Fiesta Cheese Soup

Bring to a rolling boil, then simmer til' all the cheese soup is melted in, but watch out it could burn on the bottom. Serve with warm cornbread.....YUMM-O!!!

* I've also added chopped celery and onions. And I've been know to add some butter, too ;)
